As a Volunteer, you will help us make this year’s virtual EG an awesome conference and unique experience for everyone Beside full access to the conference we offer you a few additional benefits as listed below. This will allow you to not only listen to inspiring talks and courses, but also get in touch with computer graphics professionals and students alike, while networking at our virtual conference.

About the conference
Eurographics’2021, the 42nd Annual Conference of the European Association for Computer Graphics, will take place on May 3 − 7, 2021. It is organized by the Research Unit of Computer Graphics at TU Wien. Eurographics’2021 is a unique platform for the computer graphics community to showcase latest techniques and educational work, and to explore new trends and ideas.
The conference will be organized as a virtual event.
What is your job as a volunteer?
About 25h of work (+ 5-10h preparations before the conference) including the following tasks:
- Pre-conference training in April – mandatory (we will organize training sessions in small groups).
- Operating our streaming PCs.
- Moderating Zoom sessions and assisting session chairs and speakers.
- Monitoring conference sessions and collecting questions from attendees.
- Answering attendee questions on Discord, YouTube or Gather.town.
- Organizing meetups and assisting with social events in Gather.town.
- Completing small tasks before the conference (such as helping with the setup or with sending some goods to participants)

What are the requirements to become a student volunteer?
- As a student volunteer you have to be based in or around Vienna, so you can be at TU Wien at short notice (during the conference) and can attend training sessions at the TU Wien in April.
- To ease communication in the organizing team as well as with conference attendees you need to be proficient in German and English.
- EG’2021 takes place May 3–7, 2021. Therefore, you need to be available during this week. (If you already have an appointment during this week that can absolutely not be moved, we can try to arrange your schedule to accommodate for this. We can also try to resolve time conflicts with your studies at TU Wien.)
