By Air to Vienna or Prague

There is a direct bus line from Vienna airport to the center of Brno. The bus stop is just in front of Vienna Airport (a few meters from terminal 3 exit). Important notice! Be aware that currently the main train station in Brno is be under reconstruction and the trains are stopping at a different station, Brno Dolní Nádraží. From there, the bus no. 61 is commuting to the main train station (Hlavní nádraží), the central hub of all public transportation in Brno.

By Car

Car traffic is not limited in the city center, so you can reach the conference venue comfortably by car. Parking is available directly at the venue hotel or at nearby parking lots.

It is necessary to have a highway sticker for highways, which is for sale at the border crossings, petrol stations and post offices.

Please note that in the time of VCBM 2019, the D1 highway between Prague and Brno will be under reconstruction, so most probably there will be heavy traffic and possible delays due to traffic jams.

Brno Public transport

The city itself is served by a dense network of public transportation services, including buses, trolleys and trams, that covers the entire city. You can find timetables and journeys online here.

The nearest stops to the conference venue are “Česká” (at the heart of city center) and “Šilingrovo náměstí”, each covered by multiple tram lines.
