Abstract Submission Instructions

The submission process for VCBM is divided into two phases. In the first phase, you will need to submit the paper title, abstract, author list via the SRM system by April 25, 2025. In the second phase, you must submit the PDF and all additional information through the Editorial Manager for Computers & Graphics by May 2, 2025.

There are no strict limitations or formatting requirements for the abstract. However, the submitted abstract should closely match the final version in the paper, with only minor adjustments permitted. Reviewers will rely on the abstract during the bidding phase to indicate their interest in reviewing specific submissions. It is therefore essential — and mandatory — to list all authors, including their affiliations, when submitting the abstract. This ensures reviewers can properly declare any conflicts of interest. If an author is not yet registered in the SRM system, you can invite them directly during the submission process. In the “Add User” window, an invitation link (in bold) will be available. Clicking this link allows you to enter the author’s name, email address, and affiliation. Once submitted, the author will be added to your submission, and an invitation will be sent to them by email.

The abstract should be submitted directly within the SRM form; attaching it as a PDF is therefore not necessary. You will also be asked to provide a few additional details (such as the number of pages, etc.). If these are not yet available, you may leave them blank. However, please ensure that you select appropriate categories (keywords) to help reviewers filter submissions during bidding.
