Please <strong>read the important information below<\/strong> before registering for the event.<\/p>\n<h3>EG Membership<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are not yet an\u00a0<strong>EG member<\/strong>, the conference attendance will always be\u00a0<strong>cheaper for you if you\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eg.org\/wp\/eg-membership\/\">become an EG member<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(takes a few minutes) and then register as an EG member, rather than registering as non-member (most expensive option). To become a member or renew membership go to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/services.eg.org\/EG\">https:\/\/services.eg.org\/EG<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Sanitary Conditions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Concerning the<strong>\u00a0sanitary conditions<\/strong> related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the position of the French government is still evolving.\n<ul>\n<li>We will make every effort to keep the meeting hybrid and enable on-site participation.<\/li>\n<li>It is already clear that restaurants and many places in Paris (possibly hotels, check with yours) will require to check the\u00a0<strong>COVID-19 health passport\u00a0<\/strong>of attendees. Therefore, a full vaccination certificate\u00a0at least two weeks old\u00a0must be presented upon arrival, or otherwise a RT -PCR or antigen test certificate no more than 72 hours old.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Corona testing\u00a0<\/strong>for tourists in France is\u00a0<strong>no longer free<\/strong>, it will incur a cost for you.<\/li>\n<li>On the meeting site, it is at this time of writing unclear whether we&#8217;ll have to do similar checks.<\/li>\n<li>The meeting site\u00a0<strong>provides hydroalcoholic gel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Everyone must bring their surgical masks<\/strong>, enough to last the duration of the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Given the above conditions &#8211; out of our control &#8211; please be aware that if you don&#8217;t have a full vaccination certificate at least two weeks old, or otherwise an RT-PCR or antigen test certificate no more than 72 hours old,\u00a0<strong>you may not be admitted to the event, to restaurants, to hotels. It is your own responsibility to ensure compliance with such rules &#8211; you will NOT be reimbursed in such a situation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Please be aware that the\u00a0<strong>risk<\/strong> related to\u00a0accommodation,\u00a0travel, imposed\u00a0quarantine\u00a0upon return to your country\u00a0<strong>is on your (the attendee&#8217;s) side<\/strong>. We have a few tips, though:\n<ul>\n<li>Try to find flexible and reimbursable tickets (for trains or flights etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Maybe wait a little longer to register for more clarity on the situation and conditions imposed by your home country (e.g. relative to quarantine rules etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u200b\u200bReimbursement for On-site Attendees<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Should the event or the on-site part of the event be canceled, we will make every effort to reimburse you. This <strong>excludes<\/strong>\u00a0paper costs for authors.<\/li>\n<li>Should you be unable to attend, we will make every effort to reimburse you, up to the point where we ourselves incur costs (e.g. because of cancellation delays being past etc.). This <strong>excludes<\/strong>\u00a0paper costs for authors.<\/li>\n<li>We will put up a date after which we incur costs and can no longer reimburse your registration fully as soon as possible; right now up to the end of August it is safe in any case for full reimbursement. This <strong>excludes<\/strong>\u00a0paper costs for authors.<\/li>\n<li>Reimbursement <strong>excludes<\/strong>\u00a0the case where you did not comply with the sanitary requirements mentioned above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u00a0Author Registrations<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Exactly <strong>one author<\/strong> of an accepted paper or short paper <strong>needs to register in the &#8220;with paper&#8221; category<\/strong>, the rest of the co-authors can use non-paper registrations.<\/li>\n<li>Authors of accepted <strong>posters<\/strong> <strong>do not have<\/strong> <strong>to<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>register in the &#8220;with paper&#8221; category<\/strong>, they can use the non-paper registrations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Conference Dinner<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The conference dinner is <strong>included<\/strong> in the on-site registration.<\/li>\n<li>If you have specific <strong>dietary requirements<\/strong>, please let us know before 20.9.2021.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to\u00a0<strong>bring someone\u00a0<\/strong>with you to the dinner, please contact us for conditions and let us know before 20.9.2021.<\/li>\n<li>If you do not plan to attend the conference dinner, please let us know before 20.9.2021.<\/li>\n<li>We plan to have the conference dinner at the Bouillon Racine (<a href=\"https:\/\/bouillonracine.fr\/\">https:\/\/bouillonracine.fr\/<\/a>), a very Parisian restaurant in a stunning Art Nouveau d\u00e9cor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Registration Fees<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Note that the majority of the on-site registration fee is for covering fixed costs (food, drinks, location..).<\/li>\n<li>The on-site registration entitles you to access the event with complimentary food and beverages during all breaks, the welcome reception, the conference dinner.
