An old city can still be young at heart!<\/p>\n<h3>Sightseeing in\u00a0Bremen<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>To the west of the town hall stands the most famous representation of the Bremen <strong>Town Musicians<\/strong>, the bronze sculpture created in 1951 by the artist Gerhard Marcks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Town hall<\/strong>, UNESCO World heritage site. Built between 1405 and 1410 with a Weser Renaissance facade added in the 17th century. One of Germany\u2019s most beautiful town halls.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Roland statue<\/strong>: Bremen\u2019s \u201cstatue of liberty\u201d \u2013 a symbol of trading rights and freedom since 1404. Germany\u2019s largest Roland statue.<\/li>\n<li><strong>St. Peter\u2019s Cathedral<\/strong>: Protestant\/Lutheran church with a history spanning more than 1,200 years. Early-Gothic style from the first half of the 13th century.<\/li>\n<li>Bremen\u2019s oldest district, the <strong>Schnoor quarter<\/strong>, is a maze of lanes lined with little 15th and 16th century houses.<\/li>\n<li><strong>B\u00f6ttcherstrasse<\/strong>: Built in the 1920s, this fascinating 110 metre-long lane houses shops and restaurants, museums, workshops and a carillon.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bremen Cotton Exchange<\/strong>: This heritage-listed building has been home to all things cotton for over 100 years.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hole of Bremen<\/strong>: Underground collection box. When a coin is added, you hear one of the Bremen Town Musicians thanking you.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bremen Ratskeller<\/strong>: Historical restaurant: 600 years of tradition, 650 German wines, grand hall with ornate wine barrels &amp; columns, vaulted cellar, speciality Bremen fare.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>market square<\/strong> is the focal point of Bremen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>M\u00fchle am Wall<\/strong>:\u00a0Mill dating back over a century in Wallanlagen Park. Open to visitors, also houses a restaurant.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Schlachte Embankment<\/strong>: Enjoy the wide range of restaurants and caf\u00e9s beside the river or discover Bremen from the water on a boat.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sch\u00fctting (guildhall<\/strong>):\u00a0Bremen former merchants\u2019 guildhouse, now the chamber of commerce. Built in 1537\/38 in the Flanders Renaissance style.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00dcberseestadt<\/strong>: Bremen\u2019s former docklands are being transformed into a vibrant quarter for the 21st century with a great selection of caf\u00e9s, bars and restaurants.<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Green and white forever\u2019 \u2013 the home of Werder Bremen!
